Construct & Race

Construct & Race is a split screen cooperation game where one player is a builder, with the mission to construct the circuit, and the other one the driver of the car, the objective is to reach the blue platform with the red car before the timer runs out.

In order to play this game, you will need to be 2 local players, one playing with the mouse and the other one with a Xbox controller.

Driver Controls

- Use the Right Trigger to accelerate

- With the Left Trigger, you can go back, or decelerate

- The Left Joystick will turn the car to the left or to the right

Builder Controls

- Use the Left mouse button drag and drop part of the circuit, you must drag the part on one of the slots

- Move the Mouse to the side of the builder screen to move the camera

This Game has been produced for a game jam, the theme of the game jam GMTK 2023 was "Roles Reversed", so we decided to change the role of competitor for the second player, and get him to help the first player
